Minnie Burchard

July 4, 1913 — April 5, 2001

Minnie Maria Burchard, 87, of 711 Brass Street, Juniata, Nebraska, died Thursday, April 5, 2001 at her home.

Services will be Tuesday April 10; 2001; 2:30 P.M. at Juniata Methodist Church with Rev. Dean Joy officiating. Burial will be Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska.

Minnie Burchard was born July 4, 1913 in Clay Center, Nebraska to Frederich and Elizabeth (Gahr) Boettcher. In 1930, she married Alvin R. Stimbert and he preceded her in death in 1965. She married Detmer T. Burchard in 1971. She was a member of the Juniata United Methodist Church, where she participated in ladies' organizations and sang in the choir. She was secretary of the South Inland Nebraska Cemetery Association. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. In 1975, she retired from the Adams County Treasure's Office, in the county court house in Hastings, Nebraska. She lived her entire life in South-Central Nebraska.

Minnie Burchard was preceded in death by her parents, Frederich in 1955 and Elizabeth in 1948, sisters, Olga Kent, Edna Rizzuto, Esther Morse and a brother , Albert.

Memorial maybe given to Juniata Methodist Church
Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

4-10-01; 9am-Noon
4-10-01; 1 hr. prior to service at the church
