Mona Kent

Juniata resident Mona D. Kent, 90, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at Providence Place, Hastings, NE.

Celebration of Life is 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at Juniata United Methodist Church in Juniata with Pastor Kathy Uldrich officiating. Burial will be at Juniata Cemetery in Juniata. Visitation is 1-7 p.m. Friday with family present 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to Juniata United Methodist Church or American Diabetes Association.

Mona was born July 26, 1928, in Kenesaw, NE. She married LeRoy Kent on November 24, 1947; he preceded her in death on July 31, 1989. Mona was a homemaker and a member of Juniata United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Adams County Extension Club, and Quilting Group.

Mona was preceded in death by her parents and husband, LeRoy Kent.
