Nadine Szabo

Hastings resident, Nadine K. Szabo, 67, of Perkins Pavilion, died Friday, September 23, 2005 at Perkins Pavilion.

Memorial graveside services will be Friday, September 30, 2005; 1:00 P.M. at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Mrs. Szabo was born December 9, 1937 in Waukon, Iowa, to Oliver & Viola (Hanson) Snitker. She graduated from Waukon High School in 1956. On June 1, 1957, she married Dayle D. Szabo and he preceded her in death in 2002. She lived most of her life in Marion and Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She worked at Rockwell Collins Manufacturing and also at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Nadine loved animals and worked as a pet groomer. She loved to play cards and to garden. She moved to Hastings after the death of her husband in 2002.

Mrs. Szabo was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dayle.

Granddaughter: Abby Szabo - Cedar Rapids, IA
Brother & Sister-in-law: Jerry & Eddie Snitker - Hastings, NE
Sister & Brother-in-law: Mary Lynn & Joe Jenkins - Waukon, IA
Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
