Nancy Faber

Hastings resident Nancy E. Faber, 81, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, NE.

Rosary is 7 p.m. Monday, June 11, and Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Assumption Catholic Church in Assumption with Father Jonathan Haschke officiating. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery in Assumption. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be 1-5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, and one hour prior to rosary and mass at Assumption Catholic Church.

Nancy was born December 2, 1936, in Lakewood, CO to Marinus & Ada Rose (Hagler) Beye. She married Edward Faber on April 25, 1959, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Holstein, NE. Nancy had a variety of jobs over the years but her favorite was being a mom and grandma.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters; five brothers; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rose & Pete Faber.
