Nancy Fergus

Hastings resident Nancy K. (Stilson) Fergus, 69, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Gateway Vista Assisted Living, Lincoln, NE.

Services are 1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Pastor Greg Lindenberger officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials may be given to Start Over Rover. Visitation is 1-7 p.m. with family present 5-7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Nancy was born May 16, 1948, in Hastings, NE to Ralph & Alice (DeVoll) Stilson. Nancy married Stephen W. Fergus on December 2, 1967; he preceded her in death on July 14, 2010.

Nancy enjoyed many careers during her life including nursing, accounting and as an electronics technician with the Federal Aviation Administration in Scottsbluff. Nancy enjoyed crafting, cats, murder mysteries, and crosswords. She enjoyed socializing with family and friends. Nancy loved celebrating holidays and would craft beautiful holiday-themed wreaths to share with family and friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stephen; daughter, Michelle; sister, Barbara Conrad; and brother-in-law, Jerald Fergus.
