Nora Carlson, 98, or Perkins Pavilion, died Sunday, January 28, 2001 at Perkins Pavilion.
Graveside services and burial will be Wednesday, January 31, 2001; 11:30 A.M. at Westlawn Memorial Park, Grand Island, Nebraska with Dr. Joe Scahill officiating.
Nora Carlson was born April 20, 1902 in Eustis, Nebraska to William & Louise (Weber) Hueftle. She graduated from Eustis High School and the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Nebraska. She married Harold Carlson in 1944 in Seattle, Washington and lived in Bremerton, Washington, Rochester, Minnesota and various other places. She taught school for 22 years, 9 years at Alcott Elementary School, Hastings, Nebraska. She was a past President of the V.F.W Auxiliary and Hastings Retired Teachers Association. She moved to The Kensington in Hastings, Nebraska in 1989 and later to Good Samaritan Village, Hastings, Nebraska.
Nora Carlson was preceded in death by her parents and husband Harold Carlson and a step daughter, Audrey Quinlan.

Memorial maybe given to Hastings Retired Teachers Association Scholarship Fund
