Noreen Crom

Hastings resident, Noreen E. Crom, 72, of 1006 Glenwood, died Thursday, June 21, 2001 at her home.

Services will be Monday, June 25, 2001; 11:00 A.M. at Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. Dean Joy officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska.

Noreen E. Crom was born August 6, 1928 in Rosemont, Nebraska to William & Gertrude (Wright) Van Boening. She graduated from Blue Hill High School, Blue Hill, Nebraska with a teaching certificate. She taught country school and on June 1, 1947, she married Richard Dale Crom at Rosemont, Nebraska. She later worked at the Hastings Regional Center. They moved from Bladen, Nebraska to Hastings in 1976. She was a homemaker and an active member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hastings, Nebraska. She was also a member of V.F.W. Auxiliary Post #10562.

Noreen E. Crom was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.
