Hastings resident, Norma C. Beyke, 99, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.
Rosary will be Tuesday, December 26, 2017; 7:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017; 2:00 P.M. in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lawrence or Hastings Catholic Schools. Visitation will be Sunday, December 24, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. and Tuesday, December 26, 2017; 9:00 A.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.
Norma was born August 26, 1918, in Lawrence, Nebraska to Henry & Caroline (Kathman) Pohlmeier. She married Joseph "Joe" Beyke on September 16, 1941, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Lawrence. Norma was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Altar Society, past member of Sacred Heart Church in Lawrence, and Legion of Mary.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; seven brothers; three brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; and daughter-in-law, Rose Beyke.
