She returned to Sioux Falls once WWII ended. She married Dale V. Lokke, Sr. in 1946 and they had two children: Gordon Reynolds and April Lynn. In 1962 Norma and her children moved to Elk Point, South Dakota, where she worked for the Federal Soil Conservation Service, and transferred to Parker, South Dakota in 1967. She married Rev. William "Bill" Nollmann on September 5, 1969, and subsequently moved to Pawnee City, Nebraska where Bill pastored a dual parish. The couple later moved to New Orleans, Louisiana, where Norma became Executive Director of the St Charles Avenue Christian Senior Center. She served in that capacity for 7 years. Norma was honored with her appointment as a Louisiana State Representative to the National Committee for Programs for Senior Citizens. Norma and Bill moved to Hastings, NE in 1998 to be near their daughter, April, and grandchildren. One of Norma's life-long joys was singing and she sang in many church choirs over the years. She was a member of the Sweet Adelines in New Orleans and was also instrumental in forming a Sweet Adelines group in Hastings.
