Norma Rathman

Hansen resident, Norma M. Rathman, 89, of 935 E. Clark St., died Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at her home.

Rosary service will be Sunday, April 11, 2004; 7:00 P.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Doniphan, Nebraska . Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, April 12, 2004; 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Doniphan, Nebraska, with Father Steven Major officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Rathman was born March 30, 1915 in Prosser, Nebraska to Mathias and Caroline (Genzmer) Bourg. She attended District 49 in Adams County Nebraska and graduated from Rosedale High School in 1933 as salutatorian of her class. She married Walter Rathman in Belgrade, Nebraska on December 24, 1935 and he preceded her in death in 1993. She was employed at Tom's Place in Prosser, Nebraska, Doniphan Café and the dietary department at Hastings Regional Center until her retirement. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and St. Ann's Altar Society. She enjoyed her family, playing cards and her flowers.

Mrs. Rathman was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter, son, Michael, brother, Richard Bourg, and an infant sister, Ardis.
