Norma Warrings

Norma Warrings, 87, of The Homestead, 1116 Sycamore, died Sunday, March 21, 2004 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Friday, March 26, 2004; 2:00 P.M. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Donald Boeschen officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Warrings was born November 22, 1916 at Prosser, Nebraska, to Paul & Augusta Martha (Katzberg) Meyer. She grew up in the Juniata, Nebraska area and attended Christ Lutheran and Rising Star District No. 29 public schools. On March 20, 1938, she married John Warrings at Christ Lutheran Church, rural Juniata, Nebraska. They celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary on March 20, 2004. They moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1980. She was a homemaker and a member of Peace Lutheran Church for more than 50 years. She was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Mrs. Warrings was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Virgil Meyer.
