Norval Placke

Norval D. Placke, 69, of Denver, Colorado, died Sunday, February 3, 2002 at St. Luke's Presbyterian Hospital, Denver, Colorado.

Services will be Friday, February 8, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel, with Pastor Kathleen Kasper officiating. Burial will be in the Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw, Nebraska.

Norval D. Placke was born November 3, 1932 in Adams County, Nebraska, to Henry C. & Elise R. (Warnke) Placke. He moved with his family to Kenesaw, Nebraska in 1943 and graduated from Kenesaw High School in1951. He farmed before serving in the United States Army during the Korean War from January 29, 1953 to January 26, 1955. He worked for United Air Lines in Chicago, Illinois, Atlanta, Georgia and Denver, Colorado.

Norval D. Placke was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Placke.
