Oliver Daniels

Oliver Herbert Daniels, 92, of 734 N. 2nd Ave., Hastings, Nebraska, died Tuesday, September 16, 2003 at his home.

Memorial service will be Saturday, September 20, 2003; 11:00 A.M. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Barry Rempp officiating. Private family interment at Cedarview Cemetery, Doniphan, Nebraska prior to memorial service.

Oliver Herbert Daniels was born January 22, 1911 in Leigh, Nebraska to Albert & Tina (Hansen) Daniels. He graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1931 and moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1937. He married Elayne Shields in 1940 in Hastings. He was employed by the Yellow Diamond Bus Lines and then the Burlington Truck Lines until his retirement in 1971. He worked for the Grand Island Independent until his second retirement in 1989. He was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Hastings.

Oliver Herbert Daniels was preceded in death by his parents, brother Mike Daniels, sister Elaine McKinnon and his daughter Judy Anderson
