Opal Cleveland

Former Hastings resident, Opal F. Cleveland, 89, of Good Samaritan Center, Superior, Nebraska, died Sunday, December 29, 2002 at Good Samaritan Center.

Services will be Thursday, January 2, 2003; 10:00 A.M at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Dorthea Fairbanks officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery both in Hastings, Nebraska.

Opal F. Cleveland was born January 22, 1913 in Jewell, Kansas to Rolly H. & Elsie E. (Payne) Stone. She graduated from Jewell High School, Jewell, Kansas. She married Marion C. 'Pete' Cleveland on February 27, 1931 and he preceded her in death on August 25, 1958. She moved to Hastings, Nebraska from Republic, Kansas in 1951. She was a homemaker and retired from the Hastings Regional Center. She moved to Good Samaritan Center, Superior, Nebraska in 2001.

Opal F. Cleveland was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Pete and a brother, Vernon Stone.
