Orin Colwell

Former Harvard, Nebraska resident, Orin Lee 'Orie' Colwell, 76, of 226 New Hampshire, Portage, Michigan, died Monday, November 3, 2003 at the Kalamazoo Michigan Hospital.

A viewing and prayer service will be Tuesday, November 4, 2003 from 6pm-8pm at Langland Funeral Home, Portage, Michigan. Services will be Saturday, November 8, 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Stan Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska.

Orin Lee 'Orie' Colwell was born August 12, 1927 in Maitland, Missouri to Lowell & Madge (Leach) Colwell. He graduated from Fillmore High School, Fillmore, Missouri. He was inducted into the United States Army on November 6, 1945 and was discharged on January 22, 1947. On October 13, 1948, he married Carolyn Simmons in Nelson, Nebraska.

Orin Lee 'Orie' Colwell was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, two sisters and one brother.
