Oscar Timmerman

Fairfield resident, Oscar Andrew Timmerman, 78, died Wednesday, August 17, 2005 in Fairfield, Nebraska.

Services will be Saturday, August 20, 2005; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Terry Jorgensen officiating. Burial will be in Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, Nebraska.

Mr. Timmerman was born March 31, 1927 in O'Neill, Nebraska to John Jacob & Sarah (Clark) Timmerman. He attended school in O'Neill, Nebraska. He worked for Tri State Turkey Farm until 1950 when he moved to Hastings, Nebraska to work at the Naval Ammunition Depot. On October 23, 1954, he married Sarah Shields. From 1954 until 1963, he worked construction and then for Western Land Roller, retiring in 1983. They later moved to Fairfield, Nebraska.

Mr. Timmerman was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, two sisters and two nephews.
