Pamela Rae "Pam" (Phelps) Reichstein

Lifelong Trumbull resident Pamela Rae “Pam” (Phelps) Reichstein, 74, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.    

Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 8, at First United Methodist Church in Hastings with Rev. Lance Clay officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hastings. A book signing will be 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at the funeral home, and one hour before the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the Trumbull Community Center. Pam was born May 23, 1949, in Hastings, NE to Ray and Vivian (Boggs) Phelps. She graduated from Trumbull High School in May 1967 and attended Kearney State College. Pam married George “Mick” Reichstein on August 24, 1969, and they were married for 26 years; George preceded her in death on February 26, 1996. 

Pam was a homemaker and was a longtime employee of Sweet Peas Fine Gifts. Her hobbies included reading, cooking, and attending her grandsons’ activities. Pam loved to cook and was described as an excellent cook. She was a member of P.E.O. Chapter GZ and First United Methodist Church in Hastings. Pam was a former member of the YWCA Board of Directors and a CASA volunteer. 

Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Vivian (Boggs) Phelps; husband, George “Mick” Reichstein; an infant son; and in-laws, Douglas and Ruth (Beitler) Reichstein.
