Pamela "Pam" Pochop

Hastings resident Pamela Jane “Pam” Pochop, 68, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018, at Bryan Medical Center East, Lincoln, NE.

Services are 1 p.m. Saturday, November 17, at Grace United Methodist Church with Pastor Kent Rogers officiating. Private family burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Pamela Pochop Memorial Fund. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Friday with family present at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Pam was born September 29, 1950, to Leona Netzel in Council Bluffs, IA. She worked as a receptionist the majority of her life. Pam married Russell Pochop on August 22, 1998.  Pam was extremely proud of her sobriety. Through many trials and health problems, she was committed to staying sober, having achieved 34 years of sobriety. Pam found joy in the time spent with her grandchildren. She loved them all very much.

Pam was preceded in death by her mother; son, Ryan Pochop; and granddaughter, Ashley Andreasen.
