Parker Kohl

Parker Benjamin Kohl went to be with the Lord on April 17th at his home in Ft. Lewis, WA. Parker was born December 18, 2003 at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii to Karen and Darius Kohl. Although Parker was born with a heart defect he was growing and thriving as a happy child. In May, 2004 he was hospitalized with RSV. While in the hospital Parker suffered two cardiopulmonary arrests. These arrests left Parker with many medical problems.

Over the past 4 years Parker brought much joy and happiness to his family and all those who knew him. He was a very happy child who loved music, cartoons, going to church and being with his family. He especially loved his big brother Tyson who was his best friend.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 28th at 10:00a.m. at the Livingston-Butler-Volland Funeral Home in Hastings, NE with Paul Julian officiating. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, April 27 from 6-7 with family present at the funeral home.

Survivors include his parents, Karen and Darius; his brother, Tyson; sister, Paige Coslor, Hastings; grandparents, Dave and Linda Kohl, Hastings; Ben and Doris Russell, Ravenna; great grandparents, Wayne and Helen Kohl, Miltonvale, KS.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends who have prayed, loved and supported Parker and his family.
