Patricia Ann (Billings) "Pat" Kleiber

Hastings resident Patricia Ann (Billings) “Pat” Kleiber, 87, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings. NE.

There will be no services held, she wished to be cremated. Cards may be sent to the family c/o Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home, 1225 North Elm Avenue, Hastings, NE 68901. 

Pat was born December 15, 1937, in Mason City, IA, to Chester and Louise (Nulph) Billings. They moved to Hastings around 1943 when Chester was employed as a crane operator building igloos at the Naval Ammunition Depot. Pat and her husband, Dick Kleiber, met at a high school basketball game in 1956 and were married on June 25, 1958, by Silas Kessler at the First Presbyterian Church in Hastings. To this union three sons were born, Eric, Steve, and Dave. Pat was an elementary school teacher in Hastings until she retired in 2001. 

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steve Kleiber; and brother, Dick Billings.
