Patricia Phillips

Hastings resident, Patricia Ann Phillips, 76, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.

Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Michael's Catholic Church Endowment Fund. Visitation will be Tuesday, 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present at 6:00 P.M., and one hour prior to the mass at the church on Wednesday.

Patricia was born December 7, 1938 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to Charles L. and Carla E. (Piaia) Menapace. She graduated from Rock Springs High School and St. Benedict's School of Nursing in Ogden, Utah. Patricia met Larry Phillips while completing her nursing studies at Hastings Regional Center. They were married on July 9, 1960 at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Hastings. She worked and devoted her entire career as an emergency room nurse and later as head nurse of surgery at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital until retiring in 2000. Patricia was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of America and the Saints Quilters Group. Her family will remember her as the most loving wife, mother and Nonna.

Patricia Ann Phillips was preceded in death by her parents.
