Patricia Rankin

Patricia June "Pat" Rankin, age 90, formerly of Hastings, entered eternal glory August 13, 2017, at The Landing in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Memorial Services will be Tuesday, August 29, 2017; 2:00 P.M. at Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene, Hastings with Pastor Dale Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to CareActor, Inc., 228 East 7th Street, Hastings, Nebraska 68901, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, 5801 South 58th Street, Suite C, Lincoln, NE 68516, and/or Youth for Christ, 6401 Pine Lake Road, Lincoln, Nebraska 68516. There will be no viewing or visitation as Patricia was cremated.

Pat was born to Harold R. ("H. R.") Boyd & Ora (Davidson) Boyd on June 26, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois. She was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech Pathology. Pat became one of the two original speech therapists for ESU #9, was active in her church, and enjoyed traveling with her husband and friends. She was a Hastings resident until 2012 when she relocated to Lincoln to be nearer children and grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, W. Perry Rankin and parents, Harold R. and Ora Boyd.
