Patricia Reitz

Hastings resident, Patricia A. Reitz, 83, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Mount Joseph Senior Village, Concordia, Kansas.

Rosary will be Tuesday, November 1, 2016; 6:00 P.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Doniphan. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, November 2, 2016; 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Doniphan with Father Adam Sughroue officiating. Burial will be in Cedarview Cemetery, Doniphan. Memorials may be given to St. Ann's Catholic Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 1, 2016; 9:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home; 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. with the family present at St. Ann's Catholic Church; and one hour prior to service at the church.

Patricia was born March 16, 1933 in Clearwater, Nebraska to Eugene & Caroline (Zieren) Workman. She graduated in 1951 from St. Edward's High School, St. Edward, Nebraska. Patricia married Eugene Reitz on November 21, 1951; he preceded her in death in February 2009.

Patricia operated the Dairy Cr&egraveme & Doniphan Café in Doniphan, Nebraska. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church and St. Ann's Altar Society in Doniphan, NE. Patricia enjoyed cooking, baking, and quilting.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene Reitz; brother, Harold Workman; and sister, Marie Keefer.
