Patrick O'Flannagan

Hastings resident, Patrick "Pat" V. O'Flannagan, 66, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 at his home due to a short battle with cancer.

Services will be Wednesday, August 20, 2014; 10:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 19, 2014; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Pat was born July 9, 1948 in Olney, Texas to Patrick H. & Constance (Egan) O'Flannagan. He married Becky Zastrow on November 11, 1972 at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Hastings. Pat worked at T-L Irrigation prior to opening his own business in 1983, Pat's Auto Repair where he was owner and operator for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and enjoyed hunting, going to Naponee, and loved spending time with his grandkids.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents.
