Paul Becker

Hastings resident, Paul David Becker, 88, passed away Friday, April 3, 2015 at Homestead Assisted Living, Hastings, Nebraska.

Memorial Services will be held Monday, May 11, 2015; 2:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, 1225 North Elm Ave., Hastings with Pastor Charles M. Webster officiating. A private burial will be in Sutton Cemetery, Sutton. Memorials may be given to First Presbyterian Church of Hastings. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Paul was born July 30, 1926 in Shickley, Nebraska to David & Marie (Scheierman) Becker. He married Anna Ulmer on August 15, 1945; she preceded him in death on February 18, 1977. Paul married Goldine Hall on November 3, 1979; she preceded him in death on September 23, 2013. He was an area farmer for many years until he retired. Paul was an honorary Admiral in the Great Navy of the State of Nebraska, a member of First Presbyterian Church and past member of the Eagles.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Anna Becker and Goldine Becker; infant daughter, Diane Kay Becker; sister, Matilda Remick, two brothers, Harold Becker and Benjamin Becker and step-daughter, Patricia Rosner.
