Paul Gartner

Paul Gartner, 85, of 1014 W. 12th Street, died Sunday, January 13, 2002 at his home.

Services will be Thursday, January 17, 2002; 11:00 A.M. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd with Rev. John Lee Ross officiating. Burial will be in Glenvil Cemetery, Glenvil, Nebraska.

Paul Gartner was born September 29, 1916 in Glenvil, Nebraska to Peter & Maggie (Trauernicht) Gartner. He married Freda Black in 1940. They farmed around Glenvil, Nebraska until 1957 when they moved to Hastings, Nebraska and worked in construction. In 1959, he was farm manager of Bethphage Mission at Axtell, Nebraska until 1963. He started as a real estate agent in 1964 and began Gartner Realty in 1969retiring in 1983. He was a life long area resident and a member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd.

Paul Gartner was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, Leonard, 1 great grandson, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Memorial may be given to Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd
