Paul Laan

Paul Vander Laan, 37, of 210 University, died Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at his home.

Memorial services will be Saturday, September 28, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Sacia Vik officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Paul Vander Laan was born May 18, 1965 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Dan & Joyce Vander Laan. He graduated from Grand Rapids Christian High School in 1983 and from Calvin College, both in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1987. On July 3, 1993, he married Amy Quist in Omaha, Nebraska. They moved to Hastings, Nebraska from Madison, Indiana in May of 2001. He worked for Cabela's in Kearney, Nebraska and was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church where he was a Sunday school teacher.

Paul Vander Laan was preceded in death by 2 grandfathers and 1 grandmother.

Nephews: Aaron & Jonathon Vander Laan - Grand Rapids, MI
Joel & Charlie Vrieland - Grand Rapids, MI
Grandmother: Mrs. Derk 'Sarah ' Vander Laan - Grand Rapids, MI
