Hastings resident, Paul F. Yetman, 90, of 903 N. Colorado # 2, died Sunday, February 26, 2006 at his home.
Rosary will be Thursday, March 2, 2006; 7:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 3, 2006; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.
Mr. Yetman was born January 27, 1916 in Fillmore County, Nebraska to William 'Frank' & Wilheminia 'Minnie' (Schneider) Yetman. He moved to Hastings, Nebraska when he was in the 8th grade and graduated from Hastings High School in 1933. He married Ella Zitek on June 29, 1938 in Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Blue Hill, Nebraska and she preceded him in death on December 8, 1979. He worked for McClelland-Dunn Motors, Rose Motors and later for Laird Motors as parts manager. During WWII, he worked at the motor pool at the NAD in Hastings. He was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church, Crosier Apostolate of Hastings, life member of the 4th degree Knights of Columbus and the Elks.
Mr. Yetman was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ella; son, Charles; two sisters, Margaret Dean & Bernice Helmick and two brothers, Donald Yetman and Albert 'Bud' Yetman.
