Hastings resident, Pauline Marie Mosier, 97, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017, at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.
Graveside Services will be Friday, October 20, 2017; 2:00 P.M. at Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw with Pastor Jeremy Hartpence officiating. Memorials may be given to the family. There will be no viewing or visitation.
Pauline was born in Hastings, Nebraska on February 17, 1920. She was the daughter of Tony and Lois Lamps and was raised on a farm southeast of Heartwell, Nebraska. She graduated from Heartwell High School in May 1937.
On September 23, 1938, she married Everett L. Einspahr. To this union was born one son and four daughters. Mr. Einspahr passed away on October 13, 1961. Pauline married Robert L. Mosier on October 27, 1967. Mr. Mosier passed away on October 4, 1984.
During her life, she owned two cafes and managed a Wise Dress Shop in Huron, South Dakota. She also managed the Goodwill Store in Hastings and in Kearney, Nebraska. While she was the manager of the Kearney Goodwill Store she was awarded the "Outstanding Store of the Year" in 1976 and the "Top Store of the Year" in 1977. She also worked for the Martin Luther Store in Hastings for eight and a half years. She retired in 1994. While she lived at the Good Samaritan Village she also volunteered at the bargain center and at the diner.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Lois Lamps; husbands, Everett Einspahr and Robert Mosier; son, Donald; brother, George; and three grandchildren, Rusty Paulsen, Ricky Olsen, and Heather Sizemore.
