Pearl Reiner

Former Hastings resident, Pearl Reiner, 95, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at The Ambassador Nursing Home, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Services will be Wednesday, February 20, 2013; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Tony Dawson officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to Pearl Reiner Memorial Fund. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 19, 2013; 6:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Pearl was born September 21, 1917 in Glenvil, Nebraska to William J. & Louise (Blomenkamp) Stromer. She married Michael Reiner on September 21, 1940; he preceded her in death in 1999. Pearl was a homemaker and worked at Groenewold Grocery and Geyerman Clothing Store in Hastings.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Michael Reiner; siblings, Grace Heeren, Walter Stromer, Freida Stromer, Irene Ramsey, Ruth Lund and Leona Augustine.
