Peggy Mangers

Hastings resident, Peggy A. Mangers, 70, of 233 North Hastings, The Kensington, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at her home.

Services with a Rosary will be Saturday, August 11, 2007; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska. Visitation will be Friday, August 10, 2007; 9:00 A.M.-9:00 P.M. with family present 7:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to family's choice.

Mrs. Mangers was born October 10, 1936 in Fort Collins, Colorado to Manuel & Margaret C. (Hilgenberg) Scheid. She graduated from Prospect Valley High School, Fort Collins, Colorado. She married Marvin J. Mangers on April 12, 1976. She and Marvin managed Pioneer Village in Minden, Nebraska for 17 years. They moved to Republican City, Nebraska from Minden in 2000. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Naponee, Nebraska. In March of 2007, they moved to Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Mangers was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Don Scheid.
