Peggy Moorhead

Hastings resident, Peggy A. Moorhead, 76, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Saturday, October 25, 2014; 10:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Travis King officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2014; 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the family present 5:00P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Memorials may be given to the family.

Peggy was born June 13, 1938 to Dude and Ila B. (Kennedy) Brand in Sweetwater, Texas. Peggy married Ethan "Lucky" Moorhead Sr. on January 1, 1954. Peggy was a tax preparer for over 25 years at H&R Block. She was secretary and co-owner of Lucky's Welding for forty-three years. She served as secretary and treasurer of the "Just for Fun Car Club".

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Kari.
