Philomena Hoffman

Former Hastings resident, Philomena S. Hoffman, 96, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at Rosebrook Care Center, Edgar, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Sunday, December 19, 2004; 5:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 20, 2004; 10:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Hoffman was born August 5, 1908 in Orleans, Nebraska to Alois & Anna (Lawenn) Flammang. She married Edward Hoffman at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Hastings on January 19, 1932. He preceded her in death in 1968. In 1970, she moved from Edgar, Nebraska to Hastings, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

Mrs. Hoffman was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward, five brothers and three sisters.
