Phyllis Hartman

Hastings resident, Phyllis P. Hartman, 85, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, October 20, 2017; 11:00 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hastings with Pastor Joel Remmers officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Thursday, October 19, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Phyllis was born April 10, 1932 in Kenesaw, Nebraska to Fred & Mary (Hoff) Wendt. She graduated from Hastings High School. Phyllis married Donald D. Hartman on October 1, 1950 at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Hastings; he preceded her in death on September 27, 2016.

Phyllis worked as a therapist for Hastings Regional Center; where she later retired. She was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald D. Hartman; four brothers; and two sisters.
