Phyllis H Hazard, 75, of Perkins Pavilion, Hastings Nebraska died Friday, March 25, 2005 at Perkins Pavilion.
Rosary will be Monday March 28, 2005; 7:30 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday , March 29, 2005: 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial will be Tuesday 3:00 PM at Washington Cemetery in Republic County, Kansas
Mrs. Hazard was born January 9, 1930 in Syracuse, NE to Ralph and Violet (Gray) Morehead. She graduated from Republic High School in 1946, and from University of Nebraska in 1950 with a Masters in Education. Married Forrest R. Hazard in 1950. She lived in Omaha and Grand Island before moving to Hastings in 1985, where she's been a resident of Good Samaritan Village for the last 20 yrs. She was a member of M.E.N.S.A. and the Dominican Lay Society.
Mrs. Hazard was preceded in death by her parents.
