Rae Grannis

Former Hastings resident Rae Ellen J. Grannis, 83, died at Holmes Lake Rehabilitation & Care Center in Lincoln on Wednesday, February 13, 2013.

A prayer service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, February 18, 2013, Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center.

For many years Rae Ellen enjoyed working as a Telephone Operator for the Lincoln Telephone Company, retiring in 1986. In the years since her retirement, she spent time traveling and enjoyed playing cards with her card club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Frank and Hazel Grannis; brother, Roger Grannis; and sister, Ollivon Wigert.
