Ralph Peshek

Hastings resident, Ralph Edward Peshek, 67, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Saint Francis Medical Center, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Services will be Tuesday, May 12, 2015; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Josh Reynolds officiating. Burial with military rites by Hastings Veterans Organizations will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to Ralph Edward Peshek Memorial Fund. Visitation will be Monday, May 11, 2015; 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with family present 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., and one hour prior to service at the funeral home.

Ralph was born October 1, 1947 in Hastings, Nebraska to Jack E. & Ruth B. (Lance) Peshek. He was raised in Clay Center, attended Wolfe School District #55 and graduated from Clay Center High School. Ralph served in the U.S. Navy from February 25, 1966 until September 26, 1969. He married Donna Marie Brehm on February 5, 1972; they later divorced. Ralph worked at Dutton-Lainson, Western Land Roller, Hansen Building Specialties; and Kully Pipe & Steel. He was a member of Tin Can Sailors and enjoyed hunting, trap shooting and naval reunions.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents.
