Randall Havens

Hastings resident, Randall L. "Randy" Havens, 63, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska after a courageous battle with cancer.

Celebration of Life will be Friday, October 30, 2015; 5:00 P.M. at Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home, Hastings. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2015; 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family requests casual wear.

Randall was born December 28, 1951 to Ray & Pearl (Bartlett) Havens in Minden, Nebraska. He attended and graduated from Minden Public Schools in 1970. Randall then attended Denver Automotive in Denver, Colorado where he graduated with a diploma in 1971. Randall started working for Lundeen Sprinklers in 1972 and became the service man for them which he did through 1990. In 1991 he started his own business, Lundeen Sprinkler Service, later named RLH Sprinkler Service. Randall and his wife ran the business through 2014, when he retired due to his health. In 2015, Randall worked part-time for Blue River Coatings. Randall married Joni Lundquist on June 28, 1975 in Campbell, Nebraska. They had two children, Sara and Ray. Randall enjoyed working in his garden, and being with his family, especially the grandchildren.

Randall was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Noah Brunkhorst; and several brothers-in-law.
