Randy Torske

Juniata resident Randy J Torske, 46, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at Nebraska Medicine, Omaha, NE after a short battle with cancer.

Services are 10 a.m. Saturday, February 2, at Zion Lutheran Church in Hastings with Pastor Paul Warneke officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday with family present 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Randy was born July 30, 1972, in Red Cloud, NE to Jerry & Karin (Johnson) Torske. He graduated from Silver Lake High School in 1990 and attended Central Community College in Hastings for drafting. Randy married Angela Carver on August 6, 1994.

Randy worked at Hastings Regional Center for 24 years as a youth security specialist. He had his own lawn care company for many years. Randy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Randy really enjoyed working outdoors and was always willing to help others. He was a great dad and husband.

Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Viola & Leonard Johnson and Addie & Godfrey Torske.
