Raymond Heye

Former rural Glenvil resident, Raymond Louis Heye, 84, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016, at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Friday, May 13, 2016; 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, west of Glenvil with Pastor Renee Johnson officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Churchyard Cemetery, west of Glenvil. Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Thursday, May 12, 2016; 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. with family present 5:30 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Raymond was born August 19, 1931 in Adams County, Nebraska to Evert & Kate (Hinrichs) Heye. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Raymond was a farmer and raised cattle for many years and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He loved being around animals, John Deere tractors, roller skating, and playing cards in his younger years.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Edward Heye; and brother-in-law, Daryl Ochsner.
