Reemt Stromer

Reemt W. Stromer, 93, of Good Samaritan Society, Hastings Village, died Friday, April 16, 2010 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Society, Hastings, Village.

Services will be Wednesday, April 21, 2010; 2:00 P.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church west of Glenvil, Nebraska with Pastor Renee Johnson officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Churchyard Cemetery west of Glenvil. Visitation will be Monday, April 19, 2010; 6 P.M.-9 P.M., Tuesday 9 A.M.-9 P.M. with family present 6 P.M.-8 P.M. at the funeral home and Wednesday one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family's choice.

Reemt W. Stromer was born October 31, 1916 in Adams County near Glenvil, Nebraska to Wilke & Gebke (Enninga) Stromer. He lived in and around Glenvil until they moved to Good Samaritan in August of 2007. He worked for McClelland Farm Equipment, Leverage Tools and farmed retiring in 1979. He was a very active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church west of Glenvil and a past member of the Glenvil Lions Club. Reemt married Hermina Murman on March 15, 1942.

Reemt W. Stromer was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Carl Stromer, sisters, Esther Mc Roberts, Grace Sanders, Gertrude Meyer and Hilda Sanders.
