Rev. Harvey Arthur Herman, Sr., 87, of Perkins Pavilion, died Sunday, August 17, 2003 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Thursday, August 21, 2003; 10:30 A.M. at North Shore Assembly of God Church with Rev. Bob Nazarenus & Rev. Tony Anderson officiating. Burial will be Thursday, August 21, 2003; 3:00 P.M. at Pleasant View Cemetery, near Milford, Nebraska.

Rev. Harvey Arthur Herman, Sr. was born February 11, 1916 to Arthur & Nora (Skinner) Herrmann in Banner County Nebraska. On February 8, 1935, he married Eula Miller in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and she preceded him in death in 1985. They worked on a ranch in Banner County for three years before moving to Friend, Nebraska, where he farmed and had a Grade A dairy. In 1960, he entered full time ministry. He pastored churches in Crete, Red Cloud, Sidney, Cozad, and Gibbon, Nebraska. He was a visitation pastor at Christ's Place in Lincoln, Nebraska. In 1986, he married Lillian (Cox) Rainforth. They lived in Friend, Nebraska until 1996 when they moved to Good Samaritan Village in Hastings, Nebraska. He was a member of North Shore Assembly of God Church.

Rev. Harvey Arthur Herman, Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Eula (Miller) Herman, one son, Richard Herman, one grandson, Daniel, one great granddaughter, Ashli, two sisters and three brothers.

Memorial may be given to North Shore Assembly God Church Building Fund

Tue. 8-19-03; 5pm-9pm
Wed. 8-20-03; 9am-9pm with family present 7pm-9pm
Thur. 8-21-03; 1 hr. prior to service at the church
