Rhonda Bridger

Hastings resident, Rhonda K. Bridger, 55, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010 at her residence.

Services will be Thursday, July 8, 2010; 10:30 A.M. at North Shore Assembly of God, Hastings with Pastor Tony Anderson officiating. Burial will be Thursday, July 8, 2010; 2:30 P.M. in Central City Cemetery, Central City, Nebraska. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 6, 2010; 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 7, 2010; 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society, North Shore Assembly of God, or to the family.

Rhonda was born August 12, 1954 in Central City, Nebraska to Bobbie Ray & Shirley Mae (Swanson) Broshears. She graduated from Central City High School in 1972, and went on to Grand Island Beauty School to pursue her dream of becoming a hairdresser. On June 4, 1973 she married William "Bill" Bridger in Belleville, Kansas. She worked as a cosmetologist and owned her own shop at The Kensington in Hastings. Rhonda was a member of North Shore Assembly of God. She was an avid Green Bay Packer & Nebraska Cornhusker fan. Her family and her faith were two of her most important passions.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her father, Bobbie; parents, Shirley and Vern VonOhlen; grandparents; and one brother-in-law.
