Richard Miller

Hastings resident, Richard W. Miller, 56, of 1100 E. South St #14 died Sunday, May 21, 2006 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Grand Island, Nebraska.

Graveside memorial service and burial with military rites will be Friday, May 26, 2006; 2:00 P.M. at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Nebraska with Rev. Steven Jergensen officiating.

Mr. Miller was born June 13, 1949 in Bedford, Iowa to Wayne & June (Barnes) Miller. He graduated from Bedford High School and enlisted in the United States Army on January 12, 1968 and was discharged on January 12, 1971. He married Gwen F. Melton. They moved from South Dakota to Hastings, Nebraska in 1994. He was a plumber and a member of D.A.V.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his mother.
