Richard Rose

Ayr resident, Richard Edgar Rose, 76, died Monday, July 21, 2014 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

There will be no services or burial held. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the family.

Richard was born at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital to Geraldine & Burdette Rose. Richard attended grade school in Hastings, middle school in Ayr and graduated from Blue Hill, Nebraska in 1956. 1957 he married his high school sweet heart and moved to southern California. Richard & Marlene moved back to Ayr, Nebraska in 1975 where he worked at Hastings Pork Hog Farm as a maintenance welder for 34 years and was on the Ayr volunteer fire department for 25 years. Richard & Marlene were married for a little over 54 years until Marlene's death in October 2011.
