Richard A. "Rich" Winslow

Hastings resident Richard A. “Rich” Winslow, 70, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, at his home. 

Memorial Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 26, at Butler Volland Chapel in Hastings with Steve James officiating. Burial will be at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. A book signing will be 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. with the family present 5-7 p.m. Friday, October 25, and one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date. The service will be live-streamed on Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home’s website. Rich was born July 28, 1954, in Kearney, NE to Maurice and Marjorie (Turner) Winslow. He graduated from Kearney High School in 1972 and attended Central Community College. Rich married Diana “Diane” Poore on September 29, 2009. 

Rich worked for LaserTec of Nebraska; retiring in 2020. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church where he was a church elder. Rich enjoyed fishing, gardening, attending his grandchildren’s activities, and watching Husker football. 

Rich was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Arthur Winslow, Harvey Winslow, and Greg Winslow; nephew, Ryan Guest; brothers-in-law, Jeff Poore and Darrel Poore; and great-niece, Sera.
