Robert E. Hemberger, 75, of 9108 South Logan, Roseland, Nebraska, died Thursday, February 1, 2007 at his home.

Rosary will be Sunday, February 4, 2007; 7:30 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roseland, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, February 5, 2007; 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roseland with Father Larry Gyhra & Father Thomas Au officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Roseland, Nebraska. Memorials to the family. Visitation will be Friday, February 2, 2007; 5PM-9PM., Saturday, February 3, 2007; 9AM-9PM, Sunday, February 4, 2007; 1PM-5PM at the funeral home & Sunday & Monday, 1 hr. prior to services at the church.

Mr. Hemberger was born February 15, 1931 in Holstein, Nebraska to John & Anna (Kaiser) Hemberger. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from June 2, 1953 until April 9, 1955. On October 7, 1961, he married Joan Heuertz at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Roseland, Nebraska. He had been a teacher and retired from Chief Ethanol Fuels. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Mr. Hemberger was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, three sisters and two infant sons, Robert & Gregory Hemberger.
