Robert Meyer Sr

Hastings resident, Robert A. Meyer Sr., 69, of 2323 W. 5th, died Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Wednesday, March 22, 2006; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Dr. William Nottage-Tacey officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mr. Meyer was born April 22, 1936 in Sutton, Nebraska to August & Edna (Bettger) Meyer. He graduated from Hastings High School and served in the United States Army from June 15, 1955 until June 13, 1958. He was a self employed painter/contractor and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Eagles, V.F.W., American Legion and a lifetime member of the D.A.V.

Mr. Meyer was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
