Robert Nimrod

Hastings resident, Robert "Bob" L. Nimrod, 62, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Celebration of Life and reception will be held Tuesday, May 1, 2012; 1:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. at the Hastings Convention Center, 2205 Osborne Drive East, Hastings. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family or St. Francis Cancer Center.

Bob was born December 31, 1949 in Hastings, Nebraska to Lloyd & Viola (Adler) Nimrod. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1968 and attended Kearney State Collage and Central Community College. Bob served in the U.S. Navy from 1968-1972. He married Cindy A. Tomlin on December 23, 1992 in Wichita, Kansas. Bob worked for Hastings Utilities as a plant operator.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Tom Tomlin; sister, Rhonda K. Blair; grandparents; and great-grandparents.
