Hastings resident, Robert L. Uhrmacher, 83, of 322 West 'C' Street, died Friday, January 12, 2007 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.
Services will be Tuesday, January 16, 2007; 10:30 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Pastor Adam White officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorials to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Sunday, January 14, 2007; 5pm-9pm, Monday, January 15, 2007; 9am-9pm & Tuesday, January 16, 2007, 1 hr prior to service at the church.
Mr. Uhrmacher was born March 21, 1923 in rural Adams County, Nebraska to William & Amanda (Kothe) Uhrmacher. He attended Hastings High School and served in the United States Army during WWII from January 27, 1943 until January 12, 1946. He worked at Hastings Industries as a welder. He was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church and V.F.W.
Mr. Uhrmacher was preceded in death by his parents, seven brother and two sisters.
